A voice response<\/strong> is a word or phrase spoken by the caller during a conversation, serving as an answer for the IVR system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voice responses are used in scenarios as response options for the \u201cIVR\u201d block. Unlike DTMF key presses, the IVR is configured to recognize verbal responses from the caller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To manage voice responses, click on the «Voice responses» option in the \u201cOutgoing campaigns\u201d section of the main menu in your personal account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voice responses are divided into «System,» «User,» and «Unallocated» categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

System voice responses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

System voice responses are suitable for most scenarios, such as \u201cYes,\u201d \u201cNo,\u201d and \u201cClarify,\u201d and are already preloaded into the system by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

User voice responses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

User voice responses are custom answers that you add to the system based on the specific requirements of your scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also offer the ability to add synonyms<\/strong>\u2014verbal equivalents of a voice response. Synonyms allow the system to accept less precise responses from the caller, significantly enhancing the functionality of your scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, instead of the expected response \u201cFurniture,\u201d the caller might say \u201cChair,\u201d \u201cArmchair,\u201d etc. Thanks to the synonym feature, each of these responses will be treated as equivalent to the word \u201cFurniture\u201d within the context of the scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create a new voice response:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to the \u201cUser\u201d tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click \u201cAdd.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In the form that opens, enter the new voice response in the \u201cName\u201d field, for example, \u201cFurniture.\u201d In the \u201cSynonym of the response (separated by commas)\u201d field (optional), enter words that the system should recognize as equivalents of the voice response, separated by commas, for example: \u201cChair, table, armchair, …\u201d and so on. Then click the \u201cSave\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now the voice response \u201cFurniture\u201d will always be available for selection in the properties of the \u201cIVR\u201d block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note that both voice responses and their synonyms can consist of not only single words but also entire phrases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To modify or delete a voice response from the system, select it from the list of voice responses and choose the desired action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
