Monitoring
Monitoring is the systematic monitoring and control of a particular process or condition in order to obtain information about its changes, current status or effectiveness.
The system automatically generates notifications for managers and service managers in case of termination of the use of services by contractors.
In the “Customers” section
The Monitoring function is disabled by default.
To activate it, go to the “Customers” section, select the “Monitoring” section and click on the “Edit” button.
After clicking the “Edit” button, a window opens where the user can enable the “Monitoring” function using the toggle/slider. By activating this feature, additional settings are opened that allow you to customize monitoring according to individual needs.
When monitoring is enabled on the customer, all connected services are automatically activated to track the client’s activity.
The “Monitoring format” is available “By hours” and “By days”.
Also, depending on the selected format, the settings change.
The “Monitoring interval (hours/days)” defines the time interval during which the system or application performs verification or data collection.
If “By hours” is selected:
“Monitoring interval (hours)” — it is suggested to select the monitoring interval in hours from 1 to 23. This means that you can set how often the system will monitor, ranging from one hour to twenty-three hours. For example, if you select an interval of 3 hours, it will mean that monitoring will be carried out every three hours.
If “By days” is selected:
“Monitoring interval (days)” — it is suggested to select the monitoring interval in days from 1 to 31. This means that you can configure how often the system will monitor, ranging from one day to thirty-one days. For example, if you select an interval of 7 days, it will mean that monitoring will be carried out every week.
In the “Services” section
In this section, you can view and change the connected monitoring for your services. To do this, go to the appropriate section, where you will see a list of all connected services and select the service you need.
To change the monitoring settings for a specific service, simply click the “Edit” button.
In the window that opens, you have the option to disable monitoring, change the format, adjust the interval and specify the dates during which it should be suspended. After making the changes, click the “Save” button.
These settings will be applied only to the selected service, the changes will not affect the monitoring settings in the customer’s card.
Monitoring log
A monitoring log is a tool used to systematically capture and document data related to monitoring a particular process, condition, or event.
The monitoring log records information about the creation date, types of event and service, as well as a comment. This data is used to analyze the current state, identify changes in the process or condition, and evaluate the effectiveness of the monitored facility.
The “Monitoring log” is available in the “System logs” section, which displays events for customers.
